freshest live bait as possible. As an example, our Canadian nightcrawlers are
delivered to our warehouse directly from the packing plant in Canada within
24 hrs of being processed and packaged. Other distributors pick up their
crawlers from warehouse distributing systems, many which are from outside the
state. Whereas this translates into other distributors providing a product
that could be up to 4 or 5 weeks old before delivery and not usually handled
with the best of care due to extra amount of hands it has to pass through.
Live bait is delicate and has to be handled with this fact in mind.
Also, Canadian nightcrawlers, as all live baits, are graded like any other commodity. Referring to quality and size. We carry the top grade of premium to assure that the customer get strong large nightcrawlers. We will not usually be the lowest price due to the fact that we deal with the best quality products available.
The live bait market is steady most of the time, but it does have its factors to deal with, such as fuel cost, weather conditions and exchanges rates. If we see any changes in a season it may be once, if at all and it could be either up or down and it is usually minimal.
We do not ship live bait.
